Large timber buildings with internal dividing walls
Multi-room log cabins are an ideal way of adding a large amount of flexible extra living or working space in your garden. The log cabins feature at least 2 rooms with double-glazed windows and an entrance door, with internal dividing walls jointed in to the external walls and manufactured from matching boards - All to accommodate your needs.
All our cabins are made from high quality timber with fully interlocking logs and available in different log thicknesses (44mm or 68mm), with different roof shingle options. All cabins are supplied with treated floor bearers. An installation service is available with preferred service suppliers.
If you are planning to use the cabin for living accommodation, then please see our advice on planning permission and particularly building regs.
If you can't see what you are looking for, then please do not hesitate to contact us.
Please note - although a multi roomed cabin might look the obvious choice for additional accommodation (and rightly so !) you should be made aware that it is likely your building will be subject to planning permission AND building regs when its deemed usage is for living accommodation. Under such circumstance, the standard building does not comply with building regs - it is subject to the same specification requirements of a house extension or new build house. The necessary levels of insulation can be achieved by improving the insulation properties of the external doors and windows and increasing the shell insulation properties. Shell insulation can be improved either by creating an internal stud wall, sandwiching a celotex type board or increasing the cavity width of one of our own "double skinned" cabins. You an expect a price increase in the region of 25% on our standard cabin to make the necessary adjustments in manufacture.
