Middleman outfit. In my case the lead time estimation was very poor. They were good at responding to most types of communication but as the process went along I became increasingly concerned about the quality of the advice. If doing this again I would just deal directly with the suppliers.Some specific gripes:1) I ordered the composite bearers and was really disappointed with them. Having a 38mmx38mm section, they are smaller than what is specified on the website and drawings. I ordered 68mm logs so having them sat on a 38mm section just doesn't seem right and looks unstable. In addition the instructions provided by the supplier explicitly states that the cabin should be at least 45mm off the ground, and, 38mm does not leave enough room for the floor insulation to work properly (50mm is required for this).2) I also got the EPDM roof option and had to spend a fair bit extra on materials that weren't supplied. That was the overboarding (£160) and EPDM trims (£200). Martin charged ~£620 for the EPDM roof and I found several suppliers that would supply the rubber and all the trims for £400.3) The instructions were terrible. The log structure itself was quite easy to put together and well labelled on the drawings. All other aspects were difficult to follow and are not specific to the cabin you order.Details on time estimates:Deposit paid: June 25thAdvertised lead time 6-8 weeks (expected 6-20th July)Revised estimated delivery date: 1st week of SeptemberActual delivery date: 23rd October. Good job the weather was OK in November this year!There were some redeeming features. I am quite happy with the residential window upgrade. This did seem worthwhile and is not offered by all suppliers. Martin is also quite responsive which you wouldn't get with all companies. If I was installing another log cabin I would just go directly to the suppliers.

Hi , this is the second cabin I have built , and this one is far superior to the first , despite being the same price ! It is extremely well thought out , and cut with millimetre precision . Would not hesitate to buy and build another one .

The service we received from Martin was excellent. From the initial ordering through to managing (with email updates along the way) the delivery to coincide with the construction appeared seamless. The cabin is exactly what I thought it would be.

Delivery was efficient, all well packaged and protected from damage. Constructed by three of us in one and a half days. Everything fitted perfectly and needed gentle mallet to locate exactly. Instruction book was clear simple and explicit. Thoroughly delighted with the construction and the finish. Very pleased that Martin was able to redraw the design to our specification. Delighted with the whole thing, finish, price and service. Thanks Martin.

Great quality item with simple, concise instructions, easily constructed by the family. Great delivery service. However, the customer service from Garden Adventure was not great; the cabin was a month late arriving, we had to chase for information regarding this as none was forthcoming. The incorrect bearers arrived and although we received a refund we had to chase for this. Not sure I would recommend them but the cabin materials were great.
