It’s also important to consider local Planning Permission and Building Regulations, which is especially relevant for larger summer houses.

The smaller sizes of our summer houses can be manufactured in 34mm wall logs, while all cabins 4x4m and above are available in 44mm, 68mm, and 90mm thick wall logs. 

Convenient Optional Enhancements

Windows and doors are supplied with standard single-glazed glass unless otherwise stated in the unit description, but you can further enhance your outdoor structure with double-glazing for optimal insulation. Roof coverings are also available as add-ons, as well as:

• Wood treatment
• EPDM roofing
• A composite bearer upgrade
• Toughened glass

We can also supply residential-grade doors and windows and timber framed units with double or triple glazing.

Once you've placed an order for your multi-room log cabin, production will begin. We'll arrange delivery from Vilnius, Lithuania. Typically, our lorries leave every Friday and arrive in the UK by Wednesday, at which point our haulers will contact you to schedule delivery.

FREE UK Delivery

We provide FREE delivery of your summer house to most UK postcodes, saving you the hassle and cost of transportation. Our trucks have HIAB cranes for easy unloading onto your driveway or path. Standard delivery times are between 6–8 weeks. Please let us know when placing your order if you have a specific delivery date in mind.

What is the difference between a multi-room log cabin & a summer house?

Summer houses are smaller than multi-room log cabins and feature a lighter design, large windows and lightweight materials. This makes them ideal for relaxation and occasional use. Multi-room log cabins are larger, more robust and built with thicker walls from interlocking logs, providing enhanced insulation and durability.

Both of these cabins are designed for year-round use, offering multiple functional spaces, such as bedrooms and offices. They are also capable of withstanding various weather conditions during any season.

What type of maintenance is required for a garden building?

To keep your summer houses in top condition year-round, we recommend applying a weatherproof treatment to the exterior at least once a year. If your region is especially prone to rainy weather, it’s best to do this every 6 months. It’s important to also do regular checks for wear and tear, like inspecting the roof and re-sealing windows. All this will help maintain the longevity of your summer house in the UK.

How does your professional installation process work?

The installers will arrive with all the tools required for the installationT. It’s important to make sure that the site is cleared and the base is prepared beforehand unless you have arranged for the base to be installed by the installers. They will also need access to a power supply.

What should I consider when choosing the location for my garden summer house?

Factors such as sunlight, accessibility, drainage and proximity to other structures are all important considerations. Make sure that the site is level, has good access for delivery and construction, and provides the desired level of privacy and aesthetics.

Will the installation of a summer house require planning permission?

Generally, you won't require planning permission for your new building, but there are some exceptions. It's always a good idea to check local regulations before you begin the installation of your new summer house. Fortunately, the government’s Planning Portal provides a detailed guide, including information on building regulations depending on the size and purpose of the structure.

Do you offer protective roof coverings?

Yes, you can choose from felt shingles or EPDM rubber covering to protect your summer house from the elements. EPDM rubber offers the ultimate protection at a slightly higher price, providing superior durability and longevity throughout the seasons. These are available as an optional add-on to further enhance the longevity of your log cabin. 

Do your summer log cabins come with a warranty?

Each type of cabin offers a different warranty that depends on the specific manufacturer. Our summer houses have a standard two-year warranty, but this can be extended to five years if needed.

Which type of summer house is best for garden furniture storage?

Our large summer house cabins, like the Grande, Clockhouse and Trentino, are ideal for storing garden furniture and supplies. Homeowners can enjoy plenty of space for storage coupled with durable materials to protect their belongings from rain, wind and heat. Plus, the convenient double doors make transferring furniture from outdoors much easier.

Can you install electricity and plumbing in wooden summer houses?

Yes, it is possible to install electricity and plumbing in a summer house. However, this usually requires professional installation and adherence to local building regulations. We can assist you with finding a local professional contractor to install your new summer house. Alternatively, you can find a cabin installer near you.

How do I know my summer house is durable?

Our tongue and groove design is constructed with wooden boards with interlocking ridges and slots. This makes the summer house stronger, more stable, and better at keeping out drafts and moisture. It also looks smooth and is easier to assemble. 

Are summer houses waterproof? 

While outdoor summer houses are designed to be weather-resistant, they are not always waterproof. it’s important to ensure proper roof maintenance and treatment of the timber to keep it waterproof. Fortunately, we have the option of EPDM and roof shingles to help safeguard your summer house against water damage.
