Premium Doors Hinge Adjustment
All our doors and windows are set correctly from the factory but it is possbile that due to transport or the levels of the building, they don't line up as well as you need once fitted to the cabin shell.
In this article we will show you how to ajust the hinges on our Premium range of doors.
Each leaf has three options for adjustment :
- Pressure against the door frame.
- Vertical alignment.
- Height.
Adjustment to each area is a simple process with minimal tooling required.
1. - Frame Pressure
Using a suitably sized hex or Allen key adjust the machine screw to add or reduce the pressure the leaf presses onto the door frame.
2. - Vertical Alignment
As you look at each leaf, this adjustment allows you to move the leaf in either a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction. To access the adjuster you first need to remove the cover using a suitably sized hex or Allen key.
Remove the hinge cover to expose the adjusting mechanism.
Using a suitably sized hex or Allen key adjust the machine screw to move the leaf to the left or right.
3. - Height Adjustment
Using a suitably sized hex or Allen key adjust the machine screw to add or reduce the leaf height.
