Arrived very early in the mornig and delivery driver manoevred packages as best he could to minimise the carry to the build site. Relatively easy to assemble, withn the build taking a couple of days. On opening window and door pack, found damaged external door handle, a quick email to Martin and was sorted as quick as a flash with new handle sent from the factory, all in all a very good experience and an addition of office space in the garden

Excellent service, Martin was available to answer questions and help whenever needed, quite a feat during the recent problems of supply. The cabin is very good quality and reasonably easy to put together. Just one small caveat; the instructions could be better, they're generic and don't really cover the small differences in the various cabins. Also, it would be better if the instructions were at the top of the pack, instead of in the middle, that would allow a bit of reading before opening the whole pack. Having said that, I'm very pleased with the cabin and would highly recommend Garden Adventures if you are considering buying a cabin.

The logs come delivered as a pack of logs rather than panels, so they are easier to move about the site. The instructions were located near the middle of the pack. I would have preferred the instructions to have been accessible as the pack was opened so that the inventory can be checked off during unpacking.The logs are cut very precisely and fit together snugly. They are so precise that they show any areas of your base that is not level.The windows and doors come as pre-assembled units. They have fixing battens attached which look similar to securing battens for transport. Be careful to not remove those. The window/door units are heavy.Once the first laver of logs are in place the rest of the walls are easy to go up. The instructions show a diagram of each side of the structure with each log type numbered. However, the written guidance within the instructions were for a generic structure rather than the model that was being built. For example the instructions gave a guide of how to build the apex roof, but the model in hand had a pent roof.Once built it seems to be a sturdy and sound structure. There are quite a few extra logs, floorboards, roof boards etc. Nice to have those in case of the odd split, snapped tongue.It’s early days yet, but initial feeling is quite good.

Lodge is great, good quality and relatively easy to build. The ongoing challenges of 2021 in regards to raw materials was handled well and although there were severe delays we were kept informed regularly which helped us plan.

Glazing Options
Glazing is offered in three options.
Your choice should be made by considering the building use, for example will it be used 12months of the year. All year round points more towards Superior and Premium, a summer house really only needs to use the Standard fit. Your location will also have a bearing on which to choose - How cold does it get where you live. Scotland has far more cold days than the South East of England, for example. And budget will play a part. The better options do cost more !
In each option, the glass panes are 4mm thick and the double glazing filled with Argon Gas. What varies across the options is the divide width between panes of glass. This ranges from 6mm up to 16mm. In simple terms, the greater the cavity the more efficient and insulating the double glazing becomes.
Door and window furniture also improves with the options
Standard glazing has side hung windows that open outward.
Superior and Premium windows utilise a tilt and turn hinge mechanism that allows the window to wither hinge at the bottom or on the side. In both cases, the window opens inwards

However, the customer service from Garden Adventure was not great; the cabin was a month late arriving, we had to chase for information regarding this as none was forthcoming. The incorrect bearers arrived and although we received a refund we had to chase for this. Not sure I would recommend them but the cabin materials were great.

Seamless ordering, Martin was extremely helpful with all my questions.Delivery was also fantastic with the delivery guy very helpful (it's a big delivery). Took me and elderly father in law 2 days to get it all up and built/weather tight, went together very easily with no issues. I went for the shingle roof, it still came also with felt which could be used as roof underlay. For spec I went for the superior level glazing with toughened glass, also went for the larger logs (68mm) and glad I did as feels so sturdy/insulated although am sure the 44mm would be great also. I Insulated the floor with celotex, could have done the roof but as this is a garden room rather than office etc I didn't go that far.Overall a highly recommended product, for what you get I think it's a very competitive price, much better than others I had seen that weren't so good. The only parts I bought myself were the insulation and guttering (and paint/preserve of course). I want it to last so did two coats of preserve, knotting and two of paint, also have a sealant to go on which is yet to be done. A sprayer really helped/cut down on time.Would not hesitate in recommending Martin to purchase through, helpful all through the process and very quick to respond. 5*

Really pleased with our log cabin! Can't believe the quality of the wood. It took the installation team (Lee Stuart and 3 others who were recommended by Martin) 6.5 hours which was really impressive given the weather conditions on the day, and even they said how good the quality was. It is so warm inside and we didn't even have the insulation installed. Great correspondence from Martin from the start to keep us in the loop regarding production and delivery times.
