Our customer was planning a new workshop for his garden and contacted Garden Adventure to see if we could adjust a standard Belvedere 4x4 to achieve the desired effect.
Here is a chronological diary of how the process went from start to finish,
In his first communication, our customer wanted a cabin with the following spec :
- 68mm timber
- Premium & toughened door/window option.
- Remove the window from side wall (door and window in front only)
- Door to be located on right side when viewed facing the cabin, the window to the left of the door.
A 68mm wall log and toughened glass are all part of our standard options available and these can be priced online for each of our standard designs.
Removing a side wall window again is not a problem. The front wall configuration of the door and window are also interchangeable so we put together a price and drawings for the 4x4 cabin with no side wall window.

Tailored Quote
On receipt of the drawings and quote, our customer had realised that he omitted to say that his project didn't need a floor. He was mounting his heavy machinery, directly onto the concrete floor.
In addition, he wanted to purchase a number of blank 68mm wall logs, 4.1m long.
No problem in amending the quote to :
- Remove the floor bearers and floor boards
- Add the required blank logs
The new quote was provided to the customer. At the same time, we asked what he wanted to use the additional wall logs for ?
He had aspirations for "a porch" !
Luckily, e can do that. So at that point we asked the customer if he had any sketches or drawings he could share so that we could see if it was something we could assist with. Our customer obliged and sent through :
With this information, we were then able to put together a quote including full drawings.

Once the customer had seen these documents, we were ready to confirm his order.
The process, from point of order to delivery to North Wales took just under 8 weeks - considering this was at the height of the summer we reckon that's pretty good going.
