With regard the current lead time on production and the affects Covid 19 is having upon it. The situation this year has been very fluid and therefore difficult to predict. The current production lead time is between 12 and 16 weeks.

Neal Brice said - "Overall, I am very pleased with the cabin. I have yet to fit the doors and windows mainly due to bad weather delaying work(not your fault I know). A few small issues would have made construction easier though; The long 5mm drill supplied was poor quality and bent, these are not easy to come by but eventually sourced one from RS COMPONENTS, the amount of screws supplied seemed to be insufficient and the instructions for their positioning was unclear, one of the long wall logs was too tall and had to be cut down in order for the roof boards to sit properly(I have pictures if needed). As mentioned these are small issues but made the build run less smoothly than I would have liked."

Graham Hawksett said - "Delivery was on schedule and delivery location very helpful. Adequate waterproof packaging Wrong floor supplied. Took longer than a anticipated to supply correct floor pack once identified. Instructions were limited. More emphasis on roof and floor tongue and groove set up would have helped. Most fixings were not used and I bought better quality screws etc. Overall experience was enjoyable to construct, having little previous construction knowledge. A complementary recommended exterior and interior paint package, by brand, would have been a useful marketing tool and would have offered good advice. Floor insulation options would also have been of benefit. Let's see how it weather's once the very new wood matures. "

Gary Reed said - "Spoke to Martin last August bank holiday about an Aosta log cabin. After consulting other companies Garden Adventure were the only people to assit me in my requirements. After a few emails and drawing being commissioned we received our log cabin in the November. Unfortunately too late for us to erect, but on unpacking and moving it all to garage storage I was amazed to find how good the timber had been cut and the windows and doors were constructed. All of top quality build. There was small damage to one of the doors but an easy fix with some wood glue and pins, Martin has been notified of this, Still awaiting a response from the manufactures Over these winter months we have painted the window and doors complete with frames also the facia boards as recommended in the instruction drawings, of which may I say are very easy to understand. Looking forward to a dry weekend in March to build it when I'll get back to you with an update and some photo's "

Tim Westcott said - "What moved my assessment from 'good' to 'very good' was the generous support and advice provided by Martin. This was my first Log Cabin purchase so I cannot really compare the quality of the product but I did find that quite a few of the boards were twisted significantly. This meant that where there were short 'logs' between a window and door the wall had to be forced into alignment with some extra bracing. The instructions were woefully translated from some foreign language but this was more amusing than problematical!"
