Our customised Grande 5x4 log cabin (reduced in size to 5x3) is now in situ for our customer on Hayling Island. As our previous post suggested, the 5x4 version, although perfect in looks, required some tweaking to ensure it worked for the purpose it would be supplied for. The changes we made were as follows :
- Size. We reduced the 5x4 to a smaller 5x3, this pretty much replicated the original building size, any larger and it would encroach too near the pool.
- Internal Partition. An internal partition was added to screen the pool plant away from the main usage area.
The result was for a building that fitted the specification laid down by the customer for a swimming pool cabin capable of being used as a changing facility, storage and housing the pool plant. At the same time, the ascetics were also a contributing factor. The design of the Grande provided those looks with its fully glazed double doors and tall, double glazed windows.
Our design team can assist with advise on what can and what cannot be achieved - if you are in n eed of a swimming pool cabin but cannot find anything to suit, please call the office to see where we can help.
If you cannot find the size of building you require or as in this case, require some internal partitioning, please call the office to discuss your requirements. Bespoke cabins are more expensive than the "off the shelf" versions, but you might be surprised how much we can produce prefect cabins for.
